FAQ

If you don’t see what you are looking for here please feel free to reach out to us with any questions you may have!

Can I bring my pets ?

We love animals and want you to enjoy your holiday with all family members.  That being said our campers are decorated with LOVE (some with white leather seats) and we ask that your pets stay off the furniture so it doesn’t get damaged by their nails.  For 2023 season there will be a $20 charge for the extra cleaning.

Can I share the VIP's with my friends?

For things like games and dining tent/outdoor kitchens you can absolutely share with your friends.  However, things like Paddle Board, Kayak and Canoe rentals are based on 2 people and cannot be shared with other members in your group.  There is instruction and recommendations as well as fitted life vets which are for the people renting the watercraft ONLY.

Is everything in the pictures included with the camper?

We do include a set of outdoor chairs and a table as pictured with each camper however, it may not be the exact table and chairs as things are always being replaced.  We do include the dishes/linen you select on your intake form to save you packing up things from home.

What time is check in/out?

Check in and out times are flexible. If we are delivering to a provincial park someone might be on the lot until 2pm which means we can’t start setting up the camper until that time. We have check in time set for 4pm but aim to get you in as early as possible!

Check out time is 10am. We ask that you remove everything from the camper so we can dump and clean it for our next guests. You can, however, enjoy the park until it closes (apx 10pm)

What is your cancellation policy?

For provincial park lot fees (if we reserved it for you) vary.  Generally, lot refund depends on Ontario Parks rules but generally is around 50%.  If Ontario Parks cancel the reservation there is 100% refund policy.

If you book privately with Happy Camper Adventures:

If the camper is booked and cancelled within 5 days there is “No Charge” if the vacation starting date is greater than 60 days from the booking date. Bookings cancelled more than 5 days after booking date are subject to the following cancellation charges:

If the camper is booked through Airbnb:

Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in.

Is there a noise curfew?

Ontario Parks ask guests to turn the music off at 10pm to be courteous to other guests trying to sleep.
